Couroc Unicorn Tray

Manufactured in Monterey, CA in the 1950's. Couroc's founder, Guthrie Courvoisier worked with a number of plastics during WWII. Based on his experience he was able to develop a unique phenolic resin impervious to alcohol and boiling water. His wife acted as chief designer, with a team of artisans to create the unique images like this unicorn.
