Each broom is handmade using just two materials: broomcorn, a type of sorghum grown specifically for this purpose, and nylon or hemp cord.

Made by craftsperson and herbalist Jen Stovall. Jen splits her time between Southern Appalachia and New Orleans. She enjoys the process of making things with her hands for others to use as tools and daily inspiration .

Brooms represent objects of domesticity, labor and ritual.
